GRANADA TEAMS

New members are always welcome at Granada, and we go the extra mile to ensure each child is welcomed at the club and allocated to a squad that suits their capabilities and experience.

We run teams that play on both Saturdays and Sundays to provide parents with scheduling flexibility, which means that football can be fitted around your other weekend activities and commitments.

From the U8 age group and upwards, teams are entered into a formal league Dublin & District Schoolboys / Girls' League and the Metropolitan Girls' League with matches played on a weekend (typically between 10am-1pm), and training on weekday evenings at one of our local training facilities.

To play football, you need to kit your child out with football boots with plastic studs and shin pads – these are mandatory for all training sessions and matches. Granada FC provide all players with Granada FC branded shorts and socks, and jerseys are made available by the manager on matchdays.

We run over 55 boys teams from Development Squad (from age 4-6) all the way up to U19, and 20 girls teams from Development Squad up to U17. At each age group we have multiple teams that are streamed based on football experience, which means that each child can be allocated to the team that is best suited for them.

Granada FC is proud to be an inclusive club and operates a 'Football for All' programme for children who might have additional needs.

Once your son or daughter is signed up, they are eligible to attend Easter and Summer Football Camps (which are charged separately), which the club runs to give members some structured sporting and social activities during school holidays.
